Who is this training program for?
Our Level 1: Mat + Reformer Teacher Training is perfect for anyone passionate about Pilates—whether you're a beginner, fitness enthusiast, or a wellness professional looking to expand your skills. If you’re ready to embark on a rewarding career as a Pilates instructor, this is the ideal starting point!Do I need prior Pilates experience to enroll?
No prior experience is required! However, we recommend taking at least ten classes or private sessions at a PCI-affiliated studio to familiarize yourself with our teaching style. Our program begins with the fundamentals, making it accessible to all experience levels.What will I learn in the program?
You’ll cover comprehensive Pilates principles, mat and reformer techniques, anatomy, and teaching methodology. You'll have the skills and confidence to create safe and effective classes for all fitness levels by the end.How long is the training?
The program includes two parts:Five lecture modules completed over 3–4 months.
Practice teaching, observation, and self-practice hours.
On average, certification takes 6–12 months, depending on how quickly you complete your hours.
Is the program online or in-person?
We offer a hybrid format: live, hands-on workshops at our training locations and online modules you can complete at your own pace. This blend provides both flexibility and essential in-person experience.What kind of certification will I receive?
Upon completing the Level 1: Mat + Reformer program, you’ll earn a PCI Education Teaching Certification, widely recognized by Pilates studios and fitness facilities. For those seeking the industry-standard 500-hour certification, we recommend advancing to our Level 2: Advanced Apparatus training.What are the requirements to graduate and get certified?
To graduate, you must complete all modules, attend required workshops, pass written and practical exams, and complete a set number of practice teaching hours.What career opportunities are available after completing the training?
Graduates can teach at Pilates studios, fitness centers, or wellness facilities. Many of our alumni have gone on to open their own studios or join established Pilates communities.How much does the training cost? Are there payment plans?
Tuition is $2,750 for Level 1 or Level 2 individually or $4,995 for both at a discounted rate. We offer flexible payment plans to make this investment more manageable. Contact us for details on available options.What support will I receive after graduation?
